Humax HDR -1100S
I have since purchased a brand new one from another retailer. This particular Humax box from Argos was used for at least 18 months old and used by someone else and sold to me brand new. Customer services were unhelpful.
It is wonderful to be free of monthly subscription costs. Product works equally well as subscription model it replaces. Easy to use, setup and record programmes. Picture quality as good.
Once logged in to all channels for catch up it is easy to use but setting up each each channel is a bit tedious. Has failed to record one programme but assume it was due to the storm raging at that time.
This Freesat Digital TV recorder requires a satellite dish. If you're looking for one for an aerial, look here:

Thank you for your question. I can confirm that this is possible, you would need a twin HDMI lead to a single.
I hope this helps.

I can catch up for previous 7 days and get iplayer, itv hub and my 5, however I believe all4 was taken of of Freestat. Can I suggest you go to this link and download the user manual as it's a bit complicated to explain how. As for the family thing I have no idea.
