Excellent mop . Strong well made. Cleans floor very easily not hard to use. Worth the money. Would recommend it.
Bought this after 2 steam mops failed to steam. I chose the Bona, because although expensive, it had excellent reviews. Similar cheaper design mops had reviews that reported liquid leaking out. This is really convenient - the liquid is already on board, no need to plug into electricity and no cable. It's ready to use whether you want to do a whole floor or just to clean up spills. I'm delighted with it.
Perfect floor mop for LVT flooring
Quickly assembled and simple to use. Perfect for my LVT flooring.
I use my Stone, Tile and Laminate floor Bona Spray Mop mostly on tiles. I can't comment about how it will react on your slate floors, not having any idea if their construction/condition. But I can tell you this:
I've used mine on 'raw' - as opposed to polished cement, in the garage to no disadvantage and mostly use it on tiles. The mop head is changeable and very robust with a tightly woven mop face - so unless your slate floor is uneven and has sharp edges protruding - then the mop should cope well. As an added bonus - the mop doesn't leave dull areas on black and dark grey tiles as other mops have - so your slate should come up looking good.

The supplier has stated that this mop can be used on slate floors - may be best to take care as you sweep it over any uneven surfaces

Probably not a good idea.

I have checked on your Manufacturer's website regarding your question and would advise that they do not recommend using a steam cleaner or mop on this floor.

It’s for stone, laminate and tile floors, if in doubt might be worth ringing Kardean Customer Services. I’m very happy with results I get on my granite flooring. It’s a bit pricier than other mops but well worth it. You won’t be disappointed.

The time it takes for the steam to come up to pressure will depend on the type of water you have (soft or hard) but will only be a matter of a few minutes.
