great size screen.
great size screen to use with my new computer.
Cheapest monitor I could source quickly. It is great for the price and just wish they made them in different colours!
Clear and Bright
How times have changed. Monitors were always 4:3 aspect ratio. If you wanted a 16:9 ratio, there was a big premium to pay. Widescreen was the future. Now, all monitors are 16:9, you cannot get a 4:3 anywhere, but also prices have tumbled. I needed a no frills basic monitor for my work. What I have is a more than decent monitor with a detachable stand for good measure for under £70. Colours are bright, no flicker and quite a decent sized screen too. How it would fair with a gaming console?
The Acer K222HQLBID is not a gaming monitor and does not list or have a dedicated Game Mode, it does have a picture setting that raises the brightness and contrast .

It's certainly NOT free resolution on the refresh frequency. And it's not a disable all digital processing setting. It just makes the display brighter and crisper. You want a cheap display, you get a cheap display. Seriously, spend a tenner more and go for the HP.

Your Roku Express requires a TV monitor not a PC monitor so this will work for that purpose.
How about one of these:

You can connect an Xbox one to the K222HQLBID via HDMI, the monitor does not have any onboard audio so may not be the best option.
Hope this helps - Thanks for using Argos Q&A
