About this product
The POWERFILE Belt Sander is ideal for sanding and filing in even the most awkward spots. The powerful belt sanding action and slim line enables you to get into the tightest spaces. Variable speed of 900-1600rpm ensures optimal control and finish when sanding wood, metal, tiles, masonry, plaster or plastic. The sander will tackle various tasks, including filing down nails and screw heads, sanding over curved surfaces, shaping wood or ceramic tiles or sharpening blades.
The narrow arm is ideal for sanding and filing of various materials in difficult to access areas while the 350W motor offers enough power to remove the material quickly and efficiently.
Cyclonic Action blows the dust away from the working area ant the dust canister captures it, keeping the environment clearly visible and cleaner.
Screw operated tracking prevents the sanding belt from coming off the rollers during the operation.

I have been using one of these for over 10 years and it eventually broke! Great durability and use it a lot! So thankfully it’s still available and bought a new one!

very useful machine and can be used on a variety of jobs
Budget sander but does the job
Fast delivery and excellent tracking so I knew when it would be delivered. It was good value for money for a budge sander.
The length of time a sanding sheet will last will depend upon the type of job you are using it for. Although not available from Argos replacement Black & Decker Powerfile Belt Sander sanding sheets are widely available - check your local hardware store or look online.

Having checked with the supplier for you - I can confirm no attachment to a vac is possible, it could be dangerous if attempted as the unit can be used on metal as well as wood.
I hope this helps
