The perfect carry anywhere camera
Sometimes you don't want to carry the weight of a DSLR, but still want something that will give you excellent picture quality. This camera fits the bill perfectly. Great build quality, enough settings to satisfy a top Pro, and extras such as a handheld night shot mode, set this camera well above the majority of others in the same class. Highly recommended.
Easy to use
Nice camera so easy to use and the viewfinder is good in bright sunshine
Its still running great and I LOVE this camera !
Thought I would write top a follow up review - as I have had this camera a year now. Its been on hiking trips through thick and thin, travelled with me all over the UK and Greece including up a mountain. Would I still rate it as highly as my review a year ago ? Absolutely yes !!!! It takes great pics if you just leave it in Intelligent Auto but its simple enough to go manual when you need to get artsy with it. The Panorama mode is amazingly good. Images are sharp and its intelligent focus scarcely misses a trick. Its way better as a travel cam than my old Nikon P7000 and I have yet to see it hit a software glitch (The Nikon was a shocker for locking up and needing a reboot to sort itself out). Almost every time I use this camera I am more impressed with its capabilities to get the pic no matter how tough the conditions are. Why people seem to have issues with it is beyond me - especially people saying its fragile. If they are comparing it to an iPhone then yes it might well be but my TZ70 has been stored in a soft carry case and stowed in a pocket on my backpack across a mountain, across the Camino del Santiago and up and down more hills in the UK than I can remember. Its been out in rain, sun, snow and hail and its never yet had a problem. The controls are relatively intuitive for anyone who is familiar with cameras though I can see the iPhone generation and those unprepared to spend some time learning to use it may have issues. I wonder how they would have coped with film cameras of the past. For a travel camera it meets all my needs, its light, compact, doesn't make a fuss and just quietly gets on with its job of taking pictures of a good quality when its asked. The pic attached is straight out the centre on the Camino del Santiago - its been reduced in size to get it uploaded.

I can confirm that you would need to do this via the USB cable provided.
I hope this helps :)
