I’ve got this in my kitchen on the wall but love that it can also be mobile for any room. I like the sleek and modern design. It has a remote control as well so rather handy!

Goo quality
I bought this 2 weeks ago go for my son’s bedroom in the loft. We mounted to the wall and it looks very modern and stylish, it had a remote control so he can put the heater on when still in bed and can also set a timer for it to come on early in a morning before he wakes. It gives out good heat and warms the room up quickly. We would recommend.

Great heater for little cost...
Great heater. Low wattage, so keeps Bill's down. I've got 3 now..recommended... only fault after 8 months one of the heaters has lost part of digital read out...but can make it out...

Expensive, Complicated and it doesn't work
Having read various reviews on this item I was very encouraged and thought I was on to a cracking piece of kit that would save me some money on my heating bills. Aesthetically the Duux Edge Panel Heater looks fantastic and very modern... and there the positives end. It is supposed to be a Smart Heater i.e. it will connect with your home internet and alexa / smart hubs etc - Wrong!... it will only connect if your Internet Router Signal runs at a lower frequency - I can't adjust my router frequency so this function is completely useless. The Heater is supposed to be able to connect with your mobile device via Bluetooth - yes it will pair up no problem but you try getting it to connect.... it point blank refuses to do it. The Remote Control that comes with it feels cheap and doesn't work. So Smart Heater.... more like completely useless dumb heater. You try and get it to work manually and it point blank refuses to set to the temperature you want. There is no manual as such (save for a quick start guide) everything is done online but for that you have to down an App - trouble is there are couple of different apps. I did eventually get the correct one and after days of trying to pair the Heater I did on one occasion get it to work but it still point blank refused to offer any heating controls via the app. Infuriating is not the word. I would have returned this item were it not for the fact that I had the misfortune of it falling out of the box whilst carrying it down the stairs from my 2nd floor flat and some cosmetic damaged occurred. So now I am left with a £135.00 Heater which I'm really not happy with is not fit for purpose is far too over complicated to use, relies on online user guides that you just can't access because you need to set up an account and by time they eventually send one time verification code to activate your account, the verification code itself has expired!!! So It just sits in the Hallway and I occasionally have it on to take the chill off the air when I get in from work but as far as using all the so called smart functions... forget it!! To be fair to it, it does heat the Hall Way fairly well - but even trying to use it on manual controls - it just will not go anywhere near the heat settings you want it to and theres no obvious way of disabling the Thermostat Mode to allow you to increase or decrease heat settings manually. There are brands of Smart Panel Heater on the Market (a work colleague has one) and by all accounts they are excellent but this one... nope!! Would I buy another or recommend it - NOT A CHANCE. Instead I bought a £40.00 Convector Heater with a Manual Timer and it works a treat - I was able to set that up complete with Timer settings within 20 minutes of unboxing it - my only regret was wasting £135.00 to start with on an expensive un-intuitive not so smart, smart heater beforehand. It's a shame because the product looks fantastic (even with cosmetic dents!) it just doesn't work fantastically well.

Great for connecting to your Smartphone!
I purchased it about a month ago for my bedroom as backup to the gas fired Central heating radiators. Takes a little effort to load the app and get used to operating it via mobile phone ( IPhone 14 in my case) has taken a few attempts for me to adjust to it! Now it’s a real treat to use and is perfect for my double bedroom! Initially I tried it in the large Lounge dining room and it simply wasn’t sufficient to take the chill out of such a large area? There is a 2kw version which is available from John Lewis which would be more appropriate. However I just needed this for the bedroom! It looks smart and contemporary and has a quality feel and construction to it! It has metal feet that need fixing to the main body if it’s to be floor mounted or it can be placed on a wall and has the appropriate fixings for this purpose. I am delighted with its design and silent efficiency. You can buy cheaper but I feel this is worth the extra expense.
