It’s a tarp! Doesn’t leak! As expected really!
just what i needed and more
this product is well worth the money just what i needed
Put it up and it started to rain. It leaked
Put it up. Started to rain and it leaked very badly on the seams where it was jointed. Ruined our party :( and one of the eyelets snapped off on the corner. Very poor product.
We don't recommend you use the Silverline Tarpaulin 6.1m x 9m as a pond liner. Pond liner material is LDPE (low density polyethylene) it's tearproof and much stronger than tarpaulin.
I hope this helps

Depending on the size of tarpaulin if you have the large size you can can always fold in half and use it that it will give extra protection against the water.

A tarp can be used when camping, all the same safety precautions would apply in regards to placement as the tarp is made from polyethylene, as the Tarp has eyelets for tying it over items is possible for ground water to enter the tarp area if not on dry ground, which may have the opposite effect to what you are seeking.
There are camping websites that offer hints and tips if using a Tarp while camping, I would suggest checking these out prior to purchase.
Hope this helps and thank you for using Argos Q&A.
