BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL!!!
I had used this foundation for 8 years, it was fantastic - good coverage but not cakey, matte yet dewy and the colour was perfect. About 2 years ago the started selling a really runny version, took it off the shelves and released a statement saying that there was an issue with overheating in the factory which led to the formula becoming runny BUT said that they would get the original formula back on shelves within six months. When they finally did start selling it again, it was NOT the original formula at all, it was and still is a horrible cakey, claylike formula that magnifies creases and pores and the colour has changed. I can’t understand what made maxfaxtor do this? If the actually read their reviews they would be able to clearly see that the majority absolutely hate this horrible new formula and want the original formula back. Judging by the numerous terrible reviews they have received since changing the formula, I would assume that max factor have lost many loyal customers. Maybe it’s time for max factor to actually listen to what their client base want and return this product to the original formula we all knew and loved.
Cakey by end of the day & no matching shade
Had to buy Light Ivory due to being so fair, but having neutral tones, this was still too pinky & a non-match for me. No other suitable shade options. Texture cool & creamy, so pleasant, but quite thin. Had to dab quite a bit onto blemishes to cover them. By the end of the day, it all became quite cakey, only serving to enhance face lines due to the make-up losing integrity. Can get foundation elsewhere that matches my colouring and stays fresh, for cheaper, so won't be buying again.
Hating the new formula
Have used Miracle Touch in the shade 'bronze' for many years. Was duped into buying the new formula because they haven't repackaged or rebranded. Hate the heavier texture on application and it seems to be a noticeably lighter shade when I compare to an older one I have already. Such a shame as I used to love this product. Will never buy again!
