Great product - bad customer service
I bought this a couple of weeks ago to put on an outside wall. When I got this hope I opened this to find out it wasn’t suitable for purpose as this is a wired camera and I wanted a battery camera. I tried to return this to the store and they wouldn’t accept it as it had been opened and didn’t have the cellophane on it anymore. I ended up selling this as it is not fit for the purpose that it was intended for.

Great camera with good resolution. It has wide lens view so everything is seen. And you can rotate it as you like. Comes with long black power cord about 2-3 meters. Easy to setup. No ADS it app, which is great. Free usage without subscription if you insert memory card.

Hi,
Cameras in non Wi-Fi areas appear offline in the Tapo app, both live view and camera settings are unavailable. However, pre-configured cameras can still record to an SD card even if there is no Wi-Fi. To achieve this:
a. Set up the camera and insert an SD card into the camera.
b. Enable Continuous Recording or Detection Recording under camera settings > Storage & Recording > Recording Schedule page.
c. Relocate the camera to the area without Wi-Fi.
d. Power it on—recording continues automatically.
e. To view recordings, take out the SD card and insert it in a computer via SD reader. Or check it via Tapo App > camera playback & download page after connecting camera back to Wi-Fi.

To download SD card continuous recording or motion-detection videos, you can go to Tapo App > Home > click to view the camera > Playback & Download > Playback page, switch to SD Card video section, tap on the screen, click the scissors icon, adjust the timeline, move the arrows of the target video section to select the video duration (no more than 10 minutes), tap Clip & Download. The clip will be saved to your phone's album directly if the storage permission for the Tapo APP is enabled. Or you can find it under camera Playback & Download > Download page, where you can share or save them to your phone's gallery.

Yes, the Tapo C510W 2K 360 Outdoor Security Camera can connect to a compatible Tapo Hub for recording, as it is listed as a compatible camera model. When connected, video will be stored on the Hub, but if the connection is interrupted, the video will be saved to the camera's SD card until the connection is restored.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for Tapo C510W 2K 360 Outdoor Security Camera.
The Tapo Camera does not currently support a persistent zoom feature. On the live view page of the Tapo app, you can use a pinch or spread gesture with two fingers to zoom in or out. However, this zoom is only temporary for live viewing and cannot be maintained continuously.
If there are specific areas you do not want monitored, you can set up Privacy Zones in the Tapo app. If you enabled the Privacy zone, the custom privacy zones can't be viewed or monitored to protect your privacy. The purpose of the Private zones is to prevent some areas from being recognized.
To configure the privacy zone on the Tapo camera, please follow the steps below.
1. Go to the Tapo app>Home page, tap your camera to enter its Live View page.
2. Tap the icon in the top right corner to go to its Device Settings page.
3. Click on Video & Display> Privacy Zones, enable this feature, tap Privacy Zone, and then tap Add Zone to add a new privacy zone. You can adjust the size and move the location of the privacy zone as needed when adding it.
4. Tap the icon in the top right corner to save the changes.

To increase the volume on your Tapo C510W 2K 360° Outdoor Security Camera, follow these steps using the Tapo app:
Adjusting Microphone or Speaker Volume:
Open the Tapo app on your phone or tablet.
Tap on your C510W camera from the device list.
Go to Live View.
Tap the microphone icon (for two-way audio).
You should see volume controls for both:
Microphone sensitivity (what the camera picks up)
Speaker volume (what the camera plays out)

1. Open the Tapo app on your phone and click on your camera card on the Home tab to enter its Live View page.
2. Tap the microphone icon, and then increase or decrease the volume of the camera's microphone as per your desire.
