It's built with individual pocket springs that respond to your child's movements and growing shape. The hypoallergenic materials protect against allergens, keeping your little one comfortable night after night. The mattress design promotes airflow to help baby stay comfortable while they sleep. It fits standard cots, so you can use it with your existing nursery furniture.
The removable cover wipes clean and repels water, making spills and accidents easy to manage. There's an inner protector that gives your baby a sleeping surface while the outer cover's in the wash. The cover can be removed and washed when needed. Conforms to safety standard BS EN 168902017A12021. Comes with a manufacturer's two year guarantee.

Exactly what I wanted.
I'm very happy with this, however, bit confusing on what way the mattress is actually supposed to go... if go by the pictures on the listing, then it means the labels and logo is actually upside down, but it makes most sense for the breathable mesh to be on the top. I don't know, but once you throw a sheet on top then it doesn't really matter. The mattress is a firm mattress, perfect for toddlers. I have a 1.5 year old who sleeps on the mattress.

Exactly What Was Needed
We decided to put our 20 month old twins into floor beds from their cot, scary. The cot mattresses were thin and not suitable so we got 2 of these. Absolutely brilliant, firm and comfortable, a lot higher and the girls love sleeping in their beds now. Totally recommend. Great service and speedy delivery as well.

Bought it to go with a travel cot even though the travel cot recommended to only use the one they provide. I’m so glad I bought this mattress because the one they provided was literally a centimetre thick and ROCK hard!! This one is absolutely perfect for a travel cot and will do for a while until my baby grows and needs a bigger bed.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for Mamas and Papas 140x70cm Pocket Spring Cot Bed Mattress.
Our mattresses have an air mesh outer top cover all over providing the ultimate level of breathability and baby body temperature regulation. It’s finished the same on both sides not requiring to flip.
In contrast, some other mattress ranges have different layers on each side and require flipping after 12 months to maintain performance.

After contacting our suppliers they have advised for the Mamas and Papas 140x70cm Pocket Spring Cot Bed Mattress.
We don’t specify a maximum age and weight for mattresses. however, this particular mattress is designed to fit a cot bed with base dimensions measuring 140 x 70cm. In the cotbed instructions we say that it is suitable from birth to 18 months in cot mode, and from 18 months to 4 years in bed mode.

"The main difference between the 2 mattresses is the spring type. Pocket spring mattresses offer more support than open sprung coiled. The individual springs that make up the mattress are housed in their own little pockets and work independently of each other. Spring counts can vary dramatically from 600 to 5,000. Typically, the higher the spring count, the better the support".
