Bit underwhelmed
Replacement for same model which gave up the ghost. The change heads icon was flashing even when only using the trimmer attachment. The motor felt like it was losing power as wasn't cutting as well and starting to hurt during shave. Considering this was brand new I expected to feel a big difference, but to be honest whilst notable it's a bit underwhelming. Already worried I'll have to replace again before long. The button to open up the heads attachment can be a bit problematic, I've opened it a few times by accident and had hairs all over me!

Comfortable shave
My Philips 1000 razor was acting its age after over 5 years faithful service. It was time to make a change. I've always used Philips electric razors for nearly 50 years. Reading the reviews for all available models I decided to purchase Series 5000. It has taken a few uses to get used to its slim line shape but the results are up to Philips high standards. I've had it a month now and it still doesn't need charging. I highly recommend it.
