Great - easy to use - basic calculator
Nice 'big' desk calculator that is very handy for basic functions. Clear display, big buttons etc mean that it is very easy and comfortable to use. It has all of the basic functions that I would normally use day to day (including +, -, %, x, /(division!) and simple memory functions). There is one downside (not enough to knock off a star but worth noting) in that it doesn't have a Square Root function. Because of this I have retained my little more scientific calculator (just in case!) but otherwise this is definitely the calculator prominently in position on my desk for everyday use. Would certainly recommend it.

Just the job
I purchased this calculator to replace one that had been in service for about 15 years. This new purchase has proved invaluable and is just what I wanted. The numerical keys are a darker shade than the others so easy to read and large enough for my clumsy fingers. The display window is clear with good sized numerals.. A very good replacement for my old calculator.

It shuts off automatically after about 10 minutes 30 seconds.
I bought an MX12-B today and could not work it out either, nothing helpful on the internet.
I went out, and when I came back it was off.
So I set a separate electric timer and measured it.
A rather random 10 minutes 30 seconds was the result!
