It’s excellent fan.
It is a great air cooler, it give you a good quality of air even when the house windows all close, I have recommended to a family member and she bought it and she find it great too.

Hi Jaci, Sally from Dyson here. The remote control should be positioned on the top of the loop button side down. It will stay in position then. To ensure you do not misplace it, always put it back on the fan after using it. Should you need further advise or support please contact Dyson directly. The instruction manual states the remote control attaches to the top of the appliance with thebuttons facing down.

I was going to suggest using a different power socket and also unplugging it and allowing it to settle and ‘reset itself’ but I assume you’ve already tried that.
Simply take it back to the store and Argos will exchange it for you. Dyson quality is top notch but it’s always possible there could have been a faulty component installed. Please try another, I am certain you will love the item and have years of happy ‘air multiplying’

I can confirm that it includes many features and it basically clears the air so it helps cool down the area.
