Good foam mattress but not a memory one.
Bought this Emma mattress with reservations. Having read some dubious reviews, it was a gamble really. It was half price in the Argos sale.. Anyway, after leaving it for a couple of days to expand I did see that the actually memory bit is thin, too thin to call the mattress a memory foam one. Its really a firm foam mattress, not a memory one. But after 2 weeks of sleeping on it, I can say that it is comfortable and had good nights sleep, no back or shoulder ache yet. Will do another review if it starts to sink in the middle like most do.

Too firm for side sleeper
Bought this for the spare room, I’ve slept in it a couple times hoping it would be better than my current mattress ( looking to replace it) sadly the Emma mattress is just as, if not more, uncomfortable than my current mattress. I’m a side sleeper & have started getting shooting pain in ribs and across my back which wakes me up, then I can’t get back to sleep, it’s absolutely awful. I was hoping the Emma would help but it’s still too firm for me. I am keeping it because it was on offer and it’s in the spare room, my partner tried it and said the same, very firm but he slept ok on it. Not a good mattress if you’re struggling with pressure pain from side sleeping.

Amazing mattress
I brought this mattress 2 weeks ago and I’m not disappointed. It’s the best mattress I’ve ever slept on and my only regret is I didn’t buy it sooner.

Not like the original Emma mattress
I had a Emma memory foam mattress 8 years ago which has been brilliant but ut stared to sink in the middle The one I recently purchased is not like the other one I have found it hard and the smell that supposed to disapate after 48 hours has not happened The smell is so strong its affected my chest This is the 4th week so am not happy
