Very good but not perfect...!
Good build quality and excellent picture. Does everything it should except one simple thing...if you stop a movie part way through, it won't pick up from the point at which you left off! Frustrating to have to fast forward or restart an entire chapter to get where you left off. Please Panasonic, find a way to fix this through an update!!
Excellent UHD Player
Superb UHD Player. I found that just connecting the one HDMI (Video and Audio) to the TV, causes a delay in the audio via eARC back, from the TV to the Soundbar - mouth moves before the audio. So decided to use both of the Panasonic's HDMI's. 1 x HDMI for Audio & Video and 1 x HDMI audio. I have the Samsung Q90 Soundbar and have found I can just use the 1 x HDMI (audio Only) to the soundbar and the other HDMI (Video and Audio) to the TV (OLED C9PLA). Set the TV to the relevant HDMI port, then cycle through the Sound Options on the TV - selecting Audio Out (which is a connection point on the back of the tv, I have found that for some reason at this stage, the Soundbar detects its HDMI port is in use (selecting the Panasonic HDMI Audio Only, HDMI port) and automatically connects to it and away you go. Looking at the setting, during play, the TV has gone back to ARC but the Soundbar, is still using the Panasonic HDMI port point for audio I don't think it should really work like that but it does. Downside: the Panasonic Network Feature doesn't work at the moment - it says it no network connection but in the setting, says it is connected to the network. Plus side: Using the Panasonic UHD player brings superb picture and amazing sound. I know we can use Apps for content and they are good but the player makes everything really astounding. It might seem old fashioned to buy a disc but the quality in both sound and vision, is far far far, superior on a disc to that of a download via an App. The Panasonic DP-UB450EB, Ultra HD Blu-ray player makes the whole experience visually and audibly stunningly immersive. Highly recommend.
