CORONAVIRUS – SERVICE UPDATE

Following government guidelines, we are offering our installation and recycling service on our dishwashers, washing machines and washer dryers. You'll be able to select this option when you add the item to your trolley.

In the coming weeks we will be extending this service to include other home appliances - check back here for updates.

Out with the old, in with the new

Here at Argos we don't just recycle old jokes - we also recycle old products. So when your new product is delivered, we’ll take away your old item to be recycled, along with any excess packaging. Simple.

Alternatively, you can take your old electrical and electronic equipment to the closest Designated Collection Facility free

Installation

  • After you’ve placed your order, we’ll contact you by text, email or phone to complete a short pre-installation survey to ensure your delivery and installation is a success.
  • You can book a delivery / installation date that suits you.
  • On your day of delivery, you’ll receive a text message to confirm the 4-hour window when the installation team arrive, and we’ll call again to let you know when en route to your property.
  • If you opt for installation, our team will deliver and install your new product all in one visit.

Disconnection and recycling

  • For any integrated appliance or any type of cooker, we’ll disconnect your old appliance as part of the service.
  • For freestanding washing machines, dishwashers, or if you select our ‘recycling only’ service you must disconnect your old appliance and empty it of any water.
  • For freestanding fridges or freezers, you'll need to disconnect, defrost and empty any water.
