How credit works

Credit is basically a way to borrow money. It’s a contract between you and the lender, which could be a retailer, a bank or a credit card business. And there’ll be certain terms in the contract which you agree together before you can start spending the money you’re borrowing. So you’ll only be charged extra if you don't keep to these terms in some way (like not paying back the borrowed money on time).
