If you’ve selected the product installation service, don’t worry, you’re in safe hands. However, there is a tiny bit of groundwork you need to do beforehand...
Oven installation - The Hot Zone
- Ensure there is a suitable power point within 1m of where you want the product to be installed.
- Create clear access to the area you want your new appliance installed and, especially if stairs are involved, make sure that there is room to manoeuvre.
- Check that the appliance will fit into the required space. There needs to be room at the back and either side of the cooker to allow for ventilation.
- Clear the environment near where your appliance will be installed. For cookers specifically, there can be no electric sockets or flammable items in the ‘splashback’ area directly above where the cooker will be installed (see following diagram for more details).
