Latest update
Following guidelines, we have made changes across our stores for England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Please read below for the latest updates for stores in your area, returning items and our Click & Collect service. These guidelines have replaced our usual services, and will be in place until advised otherwise.
To avoid any non-essential journeys, we’ve extended our returns policy – any store-collected purchases made from 18 October 2020 can be returned up to 30 days from the re-opening of non-essential retail in your area, in-line with our returns guarantee.

We are working hard to ensure we are offering the best service possible during this time, and we thank you for helping us keep our customers and colleagues safe.
Changes to our stores...
Please note, for the safety of our customers and colleagues, we are limiting the number of customers in our stores and you may need to queue before entering. We're busiest between 3-5pm but less so at the start and end of the day. You will also need to wear a face covering and follow the social distancing recommendations.

In England
From Monday 12 April, following government guidelines, our Argos stores and Argos stores within a Sainsbury’s supermarket, will operate as follows:
- All stores open.
- Pre-paid online orders can be collected from any store.
- You can purchase item(s) in-store.
- Returns can be taken to any store in-line with our returns policy.
- Collection points within Sainsbury's supermarkets (usually located near customer services) can only accept orders collected from a Sainsbury's collection point.
- Our home delivery, installation and recycling services are still available.

In Wales
From Monday 12 April, following government guidelines, our Argos stores and Argos stores within a Sainsbury’s supermarket, will operate as follows:
- All stores open.
- Pre-paid online orders can be collected from any store.
- You can purchase item(s) in-store.
- Returns can be taken to any store in-line with our returns policy.
- Collection points within Sainsbury's supermarkets (usually located near customer services) can only accept orders collected from a Sainsbury's collection point.
- Our home delivery, installation and recycling services are still available.

In Scotland
From Tuesday 5 January, Argos stores (excluding our Stornoway store which is operating as normal) and Argos stores within a Sainsbury’s supermarket will be operating as follows:
- Open for the collection of pre-paid online orders only. After ordering, book your pick-up slot here (third-party website). Search for your town/city and select the store you have ordered from to choose a time slot. If you miss your slot, there may be a delay in getting your order as customer and colleague safety remains priority.
- Collections of orders at Argos stand alone stores in mainland Scotland, will be given to you outside the door at your designated pick-up time. If you miss your slot, there may be a delay in getting your order.
- You will not be able to purchase items in any store.
- Items can only be returned to Argos stores within a Sainsbury's supermarket.
- Collection points within Sainsbury's supermarkets (usually located near customer services) cannot accept returns.
- Our home delivery, installation and recycling services are still available.

In Northern Ireland
From Monday 12 April, following government guidelines, our Argos stores and Argos stores within a Sainsbury’s supermarket, will operate as follows:
- Open for the collection of pre-paid online orders only. After ordering, book your pick-up slot.
- Search for your town/city and select the store you have ordered from to choose a time slot. If you miss your slot, there may be a delay in getting your order as customer and colleague safety remains priority.
- Collections of orders at Argos stand alone stores will be given to you outside the door at your designated pick-up time.
- You will not be able to purchase items in any store.
- Our Forestside store will reopen for the collection of pre-paid online orders, which will be passed to you outside at the door.
- Items can only be returned to Argos stores within a Sainsbury's supermarket.
- Collection points within Sainsbury's supermarkets (usually located near customer services) cannot accept returns.
- Our home delivery, installation and recycling services are still available.
Store and services updates....

Whilst in-store
To keep your visit as safe and short as possible, here's what you'll need to do:
- Pay for your order online
- Choose home delivery where you can
- Or collect whilst picking up essential shopping
- Follow social distancing guidelines
- Remember your facemask
- Use hand sanitiser as you enter
We are also limiting the number of customers in our stores, so you may need to queue before entering.

Paying in-store
Following guidelines, we have made some changes to how you can pay in-store:
In England - from Monday 12 April, all Argos stores and Argos stores inside a Sainsbury's supermarket are open as usual.
In Wales - from Monday 12 April, all Argos stores and Argos stores inside a Sainsbury's supermarket are open as usual.
In Scotland - from Tuesday 5 January you will not be able to purchase items within any Argos store, except for our Stornoway store which is operating as normal.
In Northern Ireland - from Saturday 26 December 2020 you will not be able to purchase items within any Argos store.

Click & Collect update
To make collecting your order as easy as possible, we've made a few changes:
In England - from Tuesday 5 January, all Argos stores are open for the collection of pre-paid online orders only.
In Wales - from Monday 12 April, all Argos stores are open for the collection of pre-paid online orders only.
In Scotland - from Tuesday 5 January, you can collect pre-paid online orders from any Argos store within a Sainsbury's supermarket. In line with guidelines, once you have completed your order, you will have to select a pick-up slot here (third-party website). Search for your town/city and select the store you have ordered from to choose a time slot. If you miss your slot, there may be a delay in getting your order as customer and colleague safety remains priority. Collections of orders at Argos stand alone stores in mainland Scotland, will be given to you outside the door. Our Stornoway store is operating as normal.
In Northern Ireland - from Monday 12 April, you can collect pre-paid online orders from any Argos store. In line with guidelines, once you have completed your order, you will have to select a pick-up slot here (third-party website). Search for your town/city and select the store you have ordered from to choose a time slot. If you miss your slot, there may be a delay in getting your order as customer and colleague safety remains priority. Collections of orders at Argos stand alone stores will be given to you outside the door.
To avoid unessential journeys, we’ll hold your order up to 7 days, so you can collect your order whilst doing your essential shopping.

Returns update
If you do need to return an item, we recommend doing so whilst picking up your essential food shop. Here's what you need to know:
In England - from Monday 12 April, item(s) can be returned to any Argos store, in-line with our returns policy.
In Wales - from Monday 12 April, item(s) can be returned to any Argos store, in-line with our returns policy.
In Scotland - from Tuesday 5 January, items can be returned to an Argos store within a Sainsbury's supermarket, or our Stornoway store, whilst picking up essential shopping.
In Northern Ireland - from Saturday 26 December, items can only be returned to an Argos store within a Sainsbury's supermarket whilst picking up essential shopping, with the exception of our Sainsbury's Argos - Forestside store.

Collection points at Sainsbury’s supermarkets can only accept returns of orders collected from these points, and no stores can accept returns of large items at this time. To arrange a collection, contact our Live Chat team.

Home delivery update
Delivery of larger items is now available, allowing us to deliver to your room of choice where it’s safe to do so. Our friendly drivers will contact you on the day to discuss delivering your order. If you are self-isolating, please make us aware so we can rearrange your delivery date.
For smaller items available with same day Fast Track delivery, choose from a choice of time slots.

Installation & recycling update
You can still book our installation and recycling service on washing machines, washer dryers, dishwashers and freestanding cookers. We can also take away and recycle your old mattress when we deliver your new one.
