Choosing the right air purifier for you
The cleaning performance of an air purifier is measured by its Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR). This means the maximum airflow (how much air it processes) in relation to its efficiency (how many ultra-fine particles it captures).
The higher the CADR, the higher the rate of air purification, cleaning a space more effectively. Products with a higher CADR will purify larger spaces faster.
For example: the Philips 3000i Series air purifier has a CADR of 400m³/hr, allowing it to clean the air of a 20m² room in just 8 minutes. The Philips 800 Series air purifier has a CADR of 190m³/hr, and takes 16 minutes to clean a room of the same size.
