Argos Coversafe Insurance

Are you protected?
Our optional Argos Coversafe Insurance is designed to protect your Argos Card balance in the event you cannot meet your repayments due to an accident, illness or unemployment. In addition, purchase protection will safeguard most of your purchases against theft or accidental damage for up to 90 days after purchase.

Am I eligible?
You could benefit from this cover if you:

Are between the age of 18 and 65
The principle card holder, resident in the UK
Have been employed for at least 6 months and pay class 1 National Insurance
Have been Self-employed for at least 6 months and pay class 2 National Insurance
Are not aware of your employment coming to an end, and
Are not aware of any health conditions that could prevent you from working

How could I benifit if I was made unemployed?
Each month you will be covered for 15% of your outstanding balance to a maximum of £1000 per month, until the balance is paid off or you are able to return to work, whichever is sooner.

What's not covered?
You need to be aware that you may not be covered for any pre-existing health conditions. Restrictions also apply for those employed on fixed term contracts and loss, theft or damage to mobile phone and gift vouchers is not covered. Further details are in the Policy Summary^.

What does it cost?
All for just 13p per £10 of your outstanding balance† (inclusive of Insurance premium tax at 5%)... and if your balance is zero, you pay nothing!
