It happens, so protect your larger electrical items

Whether you're buying a big TV or the latest PC, a washing machine or a dishwasher - if you're purchasing a larger electrical item or car audio equipment, you can protect it with Breakdown Care. For example, protection for a freezer starts from £34.99** for up to 3 years' care.

When your product breaks down it doesn't just mean repairs bills - it could be a big headache too. But with our Breakdown Care you can relax. All you need to do is call our dedicated customer care team when something goes wrong. For all approved repairs we will either send a qualified engineer to your home to fix your product or we'll arrange for a courier to collect the item from you. And we'll pay the repairer's parts and labour charges, so you'll have no repair bills to pay.

We offer plans for up to 3, 4 or 5 years, depending on the item's manufacturer's guarantee. We will tell you what plan is available when you buy an item from us either in-store, over the phone or online. Your product will also be protected against damage caused by accident for the full term of the plan.

Taking out Breakdown Care

Breakdown Care can be taken out when you purchase your item in store, over the phone or online, but you also have up to 45 days from purchasing your product in which to buy it, providing your product is still in good working order.

Just return to store (within 45 days of purchasing the product) with your item's receipt(s).

Example

If you buy a TV which has a two year manufacturer's guarantee, you can then buy a 4 year Breakdown Care plan, which will provide care against mechanical breakdown for a further two years on top of the manufacturer's two year guarantee. It will also provide protection against damage caused by accident for the full 4 years.
