When do I Switch?

The digital switchover is a huge engineering project that is being completed in stages. The switch will take place over a period from 2008 through to 2012. Each region has already been allocated a year for their switch to begin.

The dates that have been agreed for each region are shown below. Within each region there will be smaller areas that will switch at various times, based on individual television transmitters and their coverage.

The actual dates for your local switchover will be communicated by Digital UK about six months before it is due to happen.
