    What is Shutl?

    Argos has teamed up with Shutl to bring you an even quicker shopping experience across 312 stores. The Argos and Shutl partnership provides a same day delivery service for reservations from selected stores so your reservation can be delivered to your home or office at a time to suit you.

    Can I pick a specific delivery time?

    Yes, you can choose to get it ASAP or simply select the one-hour delivery slot you want for today or tomorrow.

    How quickly can I get my delivery (ASAP)?

    If you select the first delivery time on offer, Shutl will dispatch your delivery straight away. Depending on the size of your order, this means that you could receive it from as little as 90 minutes, however sometimes it may take longer due to factors outside their control (such as traffic and courier availability). We will always communicate the precise time promise to you prior to checkout.

    How does the service work?

    Shutl's clever technology distributes deliveries across a network of carriers. They are able to pick the best courier for each delivery, taking into account everything from price to customer service history. The selected courier then collects your purchase from your local Argos store and delivers it straight to your home or office. With most of their couriers you can even track your deliveries in real time on a GPS-enabled map.

    How do I order a Shutl delivery?

    Ordering a Shutl delivery is unbelievably easy. Just follow these simple steps...
    1.1 Find the product(s) that you want to buy online and reserve for collection from store.

    Where is Shutl available for Argos customers?

    The Shutl delivery service is available from 312 Argos stores. If your reservation is eligible for Shutl delivery then the service will be offered to you once you have checked and reserved from your chosen store.

    If you would like to order a product for delivery outside of these areas, please go to www.argos.co.uk and select the "Home Delivery" option within the trolley. All goods must be signed for by an adult aged 18 years or over on delivery.

    How much does Shutl delivery cost?

    The cost of a delivery via Shutl varies depending on the product and the delivery address. Shutl use your delivery postcode to calculate the distance from the Argos store. They then calculate the size and weight of the goods and select the cheapest available vehicle type to generate your quote.

    What happens to my reservation?

    You can generate a quote for delivery with no commitment to use the service and - your reservation will still be held at the store ready for you to collect in the usual way.

    If you decide to pay for a Shutl delivery your reservation is then transferred into a Shutl order and will no longer be available in store for you to collect in person.

    What happens if I am not in?

    The flexibility of the service allows you to have your purchase delivered at a time that suits you - meaning that you should be available to take receipt of the delivery. If, due to unforeseen circumstances, you are not going to be available, the best thing is to contact our Customer Services team as soon as possible on 0844 879 2211 who will be able to help you. If the courier arrives at the delivery address and you are not there, we will ring you to get further instructions. We can usually offer to:

    • leave your items with a neighbour
    • leave your items somewhere secure
    • deliver your items to an alternative address*
    • deliver your items at another time*

    In the event that we are unable to contact you, we will return the purchase to the Argos store to refund you the purchase minus the Shutl delivery charge.

    Who will deliver the item to me?

    One of Shutls approved same-day couriers will deliver your goods to you. Shutl select the courier based upon several key criteria:

    • their ability to deliver within the agreed timescales
    • the feedback on their service left by other Shutl customers
    • their quote for the delivery

    What happens if I change my mind?

    Delivery:
    As the Shutl delivery service is very fast you only have a limited amount of time to change your mind. Once a Shutl order is confirmed and the courier is despatched it is not possible to cancel the delivery. If for any reason you need to cancel a delivery, the best thing is to contact our Customer Services team as soon as possible on 0844 879 2211.

    Can anything be Shutl'd to me?

    There are some restrictions on what can be delivered via Shutl to you - for example very large items or items that have age restrictions on them. If your item is not eligible for delivery, then you will be informed on the quote page.

    What if something happens to my purchase?

    The delivery service is backed by insurance cover which, in the unlikely event of something happening to your purchase during delivery, a replacement delivery will be made as quickly as possible.

    The Argos terms and conditions of sale still apply to the product.

    Yes, the courier will require a signature for the delivery.

    How do you know which type of vehicle to send?

    The vehicle choice will be determined by the dimensions and weight of the item which we give to Shutl so that the most efficient vehicle is always used for the delivery.

    Can I track my delivery?

    Most of the couriers used by Shutl use provide real-time GPS tracking. When they do, you will be sent a link to this information via e-mail so that you can see exactly where your delivery is at any moment in time! Wow!

    Can I use Shutl to return items?

    Shutl cannot be used to return items. If you are unsatisfied with your purchases in any way then you should return the items direct to the Argos store. Please see the Argos returns policy.

    How long is my quote valid for?

    The price that we quote will be valid for at least 15 minutes, giving you plenty of time to check out. Should you take longer than 15 minutes then we will inform you and an updated quote will be presented to you on the payment page.
