Very good Over the years I have bought a lot of torches. As I need them as a security officer . But I only bought the rechargeable one's .this time when I needed a torch I saw maglite D4 in argos website and i thought to give it a try .it has two settings . Flood and spot . I like to set it on spot . It is the best torch 26 February 2013

BRILLIANT I bought this 4d Maglite torch for my brothers birthday present for his camping trips. As I have owned a Maglite for over 20 years I know its worth the money you just can't go wrong. You can adjust the beam from flood to focus and they have a good range on them also water proof . 15 January 2013
Superb - especially with LED conversion Replaced the supplied single xenon bulb with TerraLUX MiniStar31M-EX LED Conversion Kit (independently sourced). This effectively increased original 98 lumens to max 1000 lumens! Result: incredibly powerful white light. Intending purchasers should note that the conversion kit does away with Maglite "spot to flood" facility, but well worth the trade off. 15 January 2013
