enviromental savvy purschase As we needed a couple of those for a new toy, better invest on something that will be used for long periodsand can be left on hold until is needed again 18 July 2012
betta than regular you will need a universal charger, other than that its great value 12 October 2011
Just what I wanted. I had tried several places to get this purchase without success so was very pleased to buy it from Argos. I was very impressed with your reservation system as I don't like to use money over the internet and I hardly had to wait at all in the store the following day. The product itself appears to be working but I have a small criticism in that the package in which the batteries where packed looked quite worn and battered which led me to think that the batteries had been in store for some time and I just hope that the life of the batteries is not affected by this. This is the only reason I would not recommend this product to a friend 07 October 2011
bought for a smoke alarm, seems fine 15 February 2011

Answer:
Hi, thank you for your question.

I have looked into this and I am sorry I cannot advise of the exact time the battery will take to charge as this will vary with different chargers. The charge time will be approximately 7hrs.

Thank you for using Question and Answer.

It is because NiCd and NiMh types have constant voltage during discharge. Others don't. Manufacturers assume your that your stuff can run on half flat batteries, so the real voltage can be less than 9V if it is constant. 8.4V is OK but 7.2V is pushing their luck in my opinion.
