"This tent is really large plenty of space for 8 or even more if you want to sleep in the lounge area.
We first tried it out in the garden, but now I'm ready to take it on an outing! I managed to raise it with two children and an unhelpful dog in tow. The three bedroom spaces area separate from the tent and easily fit in with a toggle and hoop. Far removed from my days in an army surplus girl guides, which was the last time I tried to pitch a tent!"

"this tent seemed to be the answer to us enjoying a camping trip all together we are a family of a two year old three year old ten and 12 year old and mum and dad of course so off went to enjoy our camping trip to awake during the night wet and cold and the window leaking in too very dissapointing our kids were still taking it back for a refund paid half price but dont think its worth quarter of half price tbh"

"I am very pleased with this tent, It wasn't hard to put up or take down although getting back in the bag was a little tricky first time as we didn't roll it up small enough.
Whilst it says 8 man I figured that would be four in comfort, I think the reality is the 6 man tent would have been fine for us but the 8 man wasn't a great deal more and it's nice to have that extra space for the family specially in the wet. There's pro's and con's to each.
It should be explain this tent has 3 bedrooms a comfortable double plus 2 singles and a main living area which the carpet covers. the single rooms will take a double air bed so in theory you could sleep two in each whilst the larger room has space for a kingsize bed plus bags and other bits and bobs. The larger room has a optional divider turning it into two more singles if you wished.
In terms of being dry and staying dry I think its great its got a sew in ground sheet plus each bedroom has its own additional sew in groundsheet forming double protection from water coming up from below. The 3000 rate fabric and taped seems should be excellent even in heavy rain. Personally I have found with tents generally that leaks only happen when a seem has been damaged and can be easily be fixed with a bit of duck tape (one of my camping essentials) not that we had any leaks.
I was a bit concerned about the number or windows or lack of and unless you stood up or sat in a chair you can't really see out with the door closed which is a bit of a shame. There is a large porch sort of flap at the end accessible to the main bedroom which is nice to look out on a view from the bedroom but not if its raining or if you don't want everyone on your bed. This large porch flap thing would have been better on the side as it would have doubled as a bit outdoor shade. That said the doors are a nice size, one door has a fine net so there's no concern about nats and flys coming in and it does feel private inside.
Apart from the desire to have larger windows and being a bit big for us this is an excellent tent.
For the money this was better than others we sore. Regatta is a known name now and with the argos half price deal plus buy now pay later deal with the argos card the combination made it a good buy. I wouldn't have wanted to pay another £100 for larger windows or compromise with poor quality water resistance. So for the money I am happy"

"We were looking for a tent to take with us to Spain. Saw the advert for this one and although skeptical we bought it. Having just put it up in a friends garden, Wow, what a surprise it is so easy to erect we had it up and down within 11/2 hrs including me putting one of the inner tents in the wrong way round. Everything is colour coded .The size quality and ease of pitching is exceptional.For the price this is a bargain. If there had been a footprint available for it I'd had given it 5 stars"
