"This machine has already stopped working 2 weeks after purchase - it won't read discs. Sadly we live a long way from an Argos shop so won't be able to return it for a few weeks."

"This MP3 player infuriates me,for instance the screen is very difficult to read. The lid of the Battery container falls off every time the batteries need to be changed. One of the batteries refuses to stay in place, jumps out frequently. The written instructions are inadequate, for instance the pause instruction is not fully explained, just hinted at,there are also other mysterious button functions
I.e.3&4 which perplex the uninitiated. As well as these problems, the stop button does not always work and each switch off loses the place so that when the disc is restarted one is back to the beginning again. The ear phones are poor but with a better pair the sound is of good quality.
I shall be returning this Player shortly for it aggravates me each time I try to use it."

"After looking at reviews about personal CD players I decided on the Phillips. Not only does it play MP3 but also CDFS. I consider it to be the best purchase I have made this year, and the price at Argos was comparable to most stockists."
