"My son is amazed (aged 8 years) by the story behind the Skylanders and loves the interaction with the characters. There are 30 characters to collect altogether and you get 3 with the starter pack. He has the others on his birthday list but they are not absolutely necessary to play the game. I did have to update the settings on our Wii console but I was prompted to do this when I popped the CD in the machine."

"Very excited 6 year old boy loved it! Would say he needed a lot of help to play it.. Definitely age 7 plus as recommended. Do not buy if you are not willing to be a team player and participate - fully!"

"I brought this for my sons 10th birthday since he has opened it i have not heard a peep from him he really loves this game keeps him entertained for hours, worth the money and he really wanted this as well, also i think its good because you can collect all of the skylanders."
