"Great little DVD player. Sound and picture quality is based on HDMI through the TV, no complaints with either. I find the Sony XMB interface still a little confusing despite owning a PS3 but when loading a DVD it goes straight into it so straightforward from there onwards. It is incredibly quiet in operation, barely a sound opening or closing the drawer or during playback. Ordinary DVDs look very good, have not tried BluRay yet. Won't be using any of the web features, just wanted for DVD and BluRay playback."

"Picture quality is fabulous has to be seen to be believed.Blu ray disc a bit long loading but worth the wait,and being able to stream films via Sony and Lovefilm is a big bonus."

"Really good blu-ray player, particularly for the price. Viewing movies and tv shows from the internet is easy and quick, I wish there was a slightly wider selection of internet movie/tv providers for example you can watch i-player but not 4 on-demand. Apart from that good value for money."

"love it, quick startup, good quality picture, also has usb playback at the front, which you can watch photos, play music and films on a usb stick. also has internet access which gives you a few extra channels to watch, so basically it plays dvds, blu ray, and media on usb stick, good quality."
