"I bought this model because the reviews indicated it was good value for money and there was a reported all region hack on the internet. So far so good - performance is very good and the hack worked. I still need to explore some of the other features such as the link to the internet, but it looks like it should come up trumps there too."

"I had started collecting Blu-ray films before Christmas and it was about time I got a Blu-ray player to play them on so I chose this Philips as I have been a long time user of their products in the past, and apart from one hiccup when the machine wouldn,t switch on everything has been fine ( the problem was one I had not come across in awhile, a build up of static electricity so once it had been disconnected from the power for awhile it started working again )."

"I got this with the intention of getting the dongle for wifi access.Then after contacting philips via their online store i find out that they no longer sell the dongle for this devise...I tried several other dongles which never worked so all in all if your after wifi then buy a different macine."
