"This blender is great , so far i have used it to grind coffee beans that took 3 seconds. I used it to wisk a cake mixture ,i have made smoothies oh and i juiced a orange to drink but you must like bits. chopping nuts, making soup its just the perfect gagget It took ages in looking for the right hand blender at the right price i did so much research in the end i went for this and am not dissapointed oh and it has won a 2011 good housekeeping award !! I really cannot find fault with this blender GREAT!!!"

"A powerful product that comes with very useful features in reasonable cost. The jars are well sized with the power and the motor provides good control with so many speed settings. I strongly recommend this product to anyone looking for a 3-in-1 in this price range."

Philips HR1617 Hand Blender - White

"This hand blender is the first one I have ever owned and I'm very pleased with it so far. I've had it for a couple of weeks now and have been using it a few times a week, mainly to prepare food for my 7month old baby or chop some vegetables. What I really like about the blender is that it is powerful, has a big beaker (that was VERY important for me when I was doing research online) and a good size chopper (I do not have a food processor, so the chopper is quite handy, but I guess for someone who does, it might perhaps be a waste of space in the cupboard). The whisk attachment has been used once only to beat the egg whites with some butter. I did fear that it might break as it looked a bit fiddly during whisking, but it did a good job in the end. The blender is easy to clean and the blender and whisk can be stored in the beaker. Hope it's going to last for some time :)"
