The Philips Azur GC4890/02 steam iron, with its anodilium soleplate, tackles tough creases with ease and provides great value for money. This 2600-watt iron heats up quickly and provides 50g/min of steam to work through the deepest creases easily. The 200g/min of steam can be used in short bursts, together with a steam tip to reach tricky areas.

"This is the best iron I have ever purchased.
Tried so many before this one, all we're inferior products.
This one is nice and hot, removes all creases as it should. However drinks up lots of water. Although that's o.k, as it is efficient. Can't rave about it enough.
Definitely would recommend to serious ironers.
Ironing is now a pleasure because of this iron."

"Bought this as a replacement iron which kept tripping the electrics. It was very noisy at first when standing on it's end, so much so that the TV volume had to be turned up. Either this has settled down now or I'm used to it, as I no longer notice it. The iron drinks water like a fish, but all this aside, it is very effective and makes light work of ironing."

"Having had a Remington and a Morphy Richards this certainly beats them both.
It is easy to use,just the right weight and offers a very smooth iron.
My only criticsm is that it is hard to see the water level and the temeraure dial."
