Soften the light

"They DO NOT BLACK OUT, but they soften the light which is what I wanted. (I had read on review previously they didn't black out.) They make the curtains look better they hang well. But I had to sew them to the back, as they were too heavy for hooks with curtains also. They kept falling out of hooks."

Good Insulator

"Very easy to fit and good quality material. They do make a big difference to the temperature of the room when the heating goes off, the room stays warmer for longer, a marked inprovement in a room which only has single glazing. These were fitted along with the blackout linings."

Does what it says it will

"I got these curtains because we have a "neighbour" whose security light beams straight into our bedroom window. It switches on and off every couple of minutes so its like lightning flashes all night long. Obviously it is faulty because every now and again the bulb blows and for a couple of nights we can sleep. These curtains block out the light effectively and also add a little warmth to the room."
