- Nintendo 3DS seeks to revolutionise handheld gaming by being the first ever console to have full 3D graphics without the need to wear special glasses!
- Owners of the Nintendo DS/DSi/DS Lite will feel right at home with this new console, as the layout will remain familiar - the 3DS still uses Nintendo's classic handheld layout.
- The 3.53 inch top screen produces the 3D graphical effects, while the smaller 3.02 inch bottom screen retains all of the touch screen functionality of the popular originals.
- With 2 outer cameras, the Nintendo 3DS cannot only play games in 3D - it can take 3D pictures and record 3D video, allowing you to capture life's moments like never before.
- Built into the console are a motion sensor and a gyro sensor which work together with the all new analogue "slide pad" to allow you to have 360 degree analogue input - tilt the console for an effect in-game.
- If you find the 3D graphics are simply too much for you, the Nintendo 3DS can vary the depth of 3D displayed or even disable the function entirely, enabling you to still enjoy all of the console's upgraded features.
- Along with being able to create your own 3D films, you will be able to watch many great blockbusting films in 3D on your Nintendo 3DS console.
- In addition to having it's own great games, the Nintendo 3DS will be backwards compatible with all Nintendo DS games. You will still be able to play all your favourite games, without the need to build a new collection from scratch.
