I was a bit sceptical when reading online reviews about this watch due to waterproof and battery life issues. However I went ahead and ordered it anyways. Unfortunately for me I had to return the watch because once opened it didn't work! This was very frustrating, however I retuned it to Argos and a replacement was sent out next day free of charge. Now I have finally been able to use the watch I have to say it is a fantastic piece of technology. It takes a few minutes for the watch to find the GPS signal but after that you're away, just press one button to start timing your run! The post training feedback is very helpful too, the watch uses Garmin Connect software online and this shows you your splits, pace, heart rate (if wearing HR strap) and a map of your route. You can also edit this data. I had problems deciding between this watch and the Nike+ watch. All in all I think this is the better buy because it fits your wrist better, its smaller (more like an ordinary watch) and it doesn't make you buy extras like a HR monitor and a foot sensor. The watch does everything you need whether you're a beginner or advanced runner. 08 May 2013
love this garmin Very easy to use with a simple menu. Heart rate monitor is comfortable to wear. Love the garmin connect facility so not only do you get information of your run on the garmin but you can use the software and website to give you a visual of maps and graphs of the run, heart rate, pace, calories used. Very good way to encourage you to run further or faster, or for longer distances a good way to help stabilize your pace. A good piece of equipment to help you train. When you think of the price of a pair of trainers I don't think the price for this bit of kit is out of the way. 01 March 2013
