- Play as a variety of characters from mission to mission, revealing several sides to the overall narrative.
- Battles take place on foot or in the air as you take to the skies in several aircraft, including a Hind helicopter. Players will have a huge number of ballistic weapons to choose from, including crossbows, which make an appearance for the first time in a Call of Duty game.
- Signature multi player: Call of Duty's signature multi player game play returns bigger and better than ever with new perks and kill streaks, deeper levels of character and weapon customisation.
- Earn COD points during multi player battles and spend them on upgrades such as improved weapons and attachments or in-game perks such as controllable helicopter attacks, napalm strikes and remote controlled explosive cars.
- COD points can also be used to customize player characters and can be wagered in a tense series of custom games in which players put their hard-earned COD points on the line.
- All new modes include:
- Wager Matches - One in the Chamber, Gun Game, Sticks and Stones, Sharpshooter.
- Theatre Mode - View, record and edit your favourite moments from multi player and share with your friends.
- Combat Training - Test you skills solo or co-op with friends against AI enemy players.
- Plus Zombies! Fan favourite Zombie mode is back providing endless hours of Zombie-slaying entertainment, solo or co-op. This nail-biting mode sees up to 4 players team up to take on wave after wave of flesh-hungry undead.
