Slippy to walk on

"Description states:-"This vinyl carpet protector has a textured backing to prevent slipping on carpets" ............. This is true - it doesn't slip on carpets however the upper walking surface has virtually no slip resistance and it's like walking on ice! Additionally is too stiff, "wrinkles" and won't lie flat causing trips."

"Bought to keep mud off white carpets by back door. Does the job well, easy to clean. Smell takes a few days to go away and had to weigh ends down to straighten it out but good for the price."

"this Vinyl Carpet Protector i thought was poor, it want lay flat. keeps cumin up and bending over, if i want to go in and out my door i have to take the protector up, which i brought the carpet protector to leav down for when im in and our my frunt door to stop my carpet getting dirty with my pram feels."

"A bit on the thin side, though this makes it easy to cut with a pair of sturdy scissors.
Doesn't slip - but does 'creep'. Suppose that depends on the carpet underneath.
Main problem though is it brings with it quite a strong smell which takes a week or more to dissipate."
