"My daughters and I are fans of LeapFrog products, simply because they are educational, innovative, fun &durable. So naturally I had high hopes for this product, however I was a little disappointed.
1. The screen is just a flimsy piece of plastic with an equally flimsy screen wipe.
2. The alphabet buttons on the top are too small for a child.
3. Some letter formations are taught the wrong way. I.e. "d" and "p" (now I don't know who makes a "p" bottom-up?)
4. The pen is too thick for little hands.

So overall I would not recommend this product if your after a decent, reasonably priced, educational toy; as there are better products out there, and nothing beats pencil and paper TBH. My daughters only use it in the car. There is nothing innovative about this product as it seems like not much thought has gone into it, just a money making scheme!"

"I bought this for my son's 3rd birthday and it is fantastic, he loves it. It has many features but is really simple to use for both of us.I love that the pen is attached to the pad so it is not easily lost. my only dislike is that the board to trace on could be damaged easily as it is quite flimsy but, yet again another fun learning game from Leap Frog!"
