"Great looking player, that is easy to use. Ideal for streaming music through your iPhone or iTouch. Overall decent sound, but I would have preferred more flexibility on adjusting sound quality. There are bass and treble controls, but an equaliser with a wider range of frequency adjustment would have bee welcomed. The speakers are OK for use in a smallish room; they sound very good at low volume. If you like to crank your music up, then you might want to use some bigger speakers."

"Having had hi-fi seperates for many years, perhaps I was expecting a little too much from this unit. The sound was OK, not fantastic - treble and mid tone are not great, but has a good solid bass. However the functionality of the usb port is poor, and does not give you the option of scrolling through the usb stick to search for songs without having to listening to each one 1st."

"Very good system for the size, sound quality is very rich considering its only 60watts, DAB radio is very good, easy set up.....very pleased with the product."

good all rounder

"This item is well made as expected from Sony.The sound quaility is good considering the size of the unit and speakers.A very acceptable bass is produced when one "tweeks" the settings. There are 2 things to mention... these may be of help. Firstly there is NO headphone socket!! I find this very suprising. Secondly the speaker cables have mini plugs at the unit end as opposed to snap open and shut ones so if an extended cable run is required( as in my case) then junction boxes of some sort will be required to attach the included unit cables to the extensions. I have purchased an external DAB aerial do not like the silly bit of wire supplied. All in all good value for money. hope this helps."

"sounds good not enough speaker cable to seperate the speakers to get the full sound had to go and buy a antena to pick up dab signal should have come with the unit cost cutting by sony poor show"
