Good player, not mp3 as advertised

"Bought this for my 94 year mother in law. Being partially sighted and easily confused, she can't cope with new gadgets so chose this as there is no remote control so less things to go wrong for her. She uses talking books - this is advertised as playing tapes, cds and mp3s. However it does not play the mp3s. Nevertheless she is happy with the tape player as she finds the buttons easy to press, can put tapes in easily and the sound quality is good."

"I was looking forward to using this stereo player. When I used it for the first time I was more than a bit disappointed with the sound quality, The speakers give off a very tinny sound. Not at all what I was expecting from a Sony stereo."
