"This bike is actually quite comfotable to sit on. It folds up really easily and easy to move a bit heavy but manageable (am 5'2).
Having quite strong legs and keeping fit over the years I was worried that the levels would be too easy after reading some reviews. Yes, the first few are easy, however they are the warm up. I do 2 mins on each level up to 8 and then back down the levels which is a perfect 1/2 hour. Perfect for any soap on tv! Obviously as you get fitter just increase the time and speed.
Re the calorie counting. This can only ever be an average unless you can type in weight etc. So you can use it as a guide but to be honest if you are exercising and raising your heartbeat you will be raising your resting metabolic rate so will continue to burn more calories than without the exercise....you just need to keep it up!!
Overall it is silent, better looking than most, great wide seat and convenient and easy to use. Maybe not for the professional but definately for most of us folk to keep trim and fit.

Good bike, but deceptively not portable

"This is a perfectly good excercise bike with no real flaws while excersizing, it does its job and is stable and quiet. The wide seat is comfortable and doesn't seem to get in the way of the legs. At its lowest position, it's just about suitable for someone just over 5ft tall.
The main problem I have with it is the weight. 18kg is too heavy for most people to fold up and put away between exercises, and it has a tendancy to unfold under its own weight, which makes it cumbersome to carry. A better design could have reduced weight without sacrificing stability.
As well as this, the "computer" on it is a toy and the information it gives is meaningless except for the timer. Distance/speed passes far too quickly to be km or mi, and the pulse and calories don't seem accurate.
Just as a basic stationary excercise bike though, it works well."

Not bad for the price

"I'm fairly small build, I find it quite robust and sturdy. The tension settings seem to work well. Seat is very comfortable, much better than a normal bike! I wouldn't know how accurate the monitors are, but it is very useful to pace yourself if nothing else. I'm very pleased with my purchase."

Looks good but limited performance

"I was disappointed with the limited performance: the bike has 8 gears, but you can basically forget the first 6 or 7 as they are totally ineffective, at least for me. Also, the saddle, alhough in theory adjustable, cannot be put high enough to accommodate my legs as the bar on which it is to rest is simply too short! So it may be OK for a child/young person, but not enough to get me exercised or sweating - even after 45 min of continuous cycling!
On the positive side - the appearance of the bike is good - the black/yellow combination makes it a lot easier to blend in with the rest of the furniture (may be I could use the sticking out handles as a coat hanger?) and the operation is quiet which makes it possible to use even when you are watching a movie. What a shame the bike seems a bit useless in terms of getting some exercise which had been my primary goal!"

If this is the situation then you will not be able to strech your leg/knee completely while working out."
