"I had been looking for a replacement watch for some time as the old one, also a Citizen, had become very scratched after many years constant use - I wear it 24/7 in all conditions.
The replacement needed to be 100m water resistant as I go swimming / sauna / Jacuzzi etc with it on.
I had looked at various options and considered the Citizen to be the best looking and most suitable. I kept an eye on the Argos price for it and when I saw that it had been further reduced I made my purchase. Not only that, but I got an additional 10% off as it was advertised in the reductions paper as an eco-drive model, which it is not.
I should have tried it on in the shop but didn't. I had to take it back to have links removed from the bracelet as they were very stiff to remove and I didn't want to risk damaging it by doing it myself. I actually went back twice in about three or four days until I got it right. They did the alterations while I waited without any quibble, returning the removed links in case I need them later.
I am very satisfied with the watch, which keeps good time, has a clear face and hands and is luminous, so I can see the time if I wake up in the night. The only point I can give in the negative is that the date window is obscured by the hands at certain times. Also, I was very happy with the service received at the store (Midsomer Norton)."
