Bush Pocket DAB/FM Radio - Black. 3.9 5 55 56
Good value Exactly what I wanted. 26 August 2014
waste of money Bought this radio and charged it up ,turned it on and it found many stations , but all I got was static . Bought better headphones for it but it made no difference so I took it back and got a more expensive one . This is a waste of money. 15 August 2014
Quality of reception lets it down The initial set up isn't as straightforward as it could be - it took a long time and had to be abandoned initially as it seemed to get stuck - but I got there eventually, and programmed in the pre-sets very easily. Unfortunately the reception frequently drops out on a regular basis and can't connect to the stations, so I can't really recommend it. The reception might improve if used on the move rather than in a fixed location (I listen in bed) but, at the moment, it's really not up to the job. 25 July 2014
Nice looking product Not too bad a product on the whole but keeps loosing reception can be annoying 25 July 2014
Pocket Radio I purchased this as I have difficulty sleeping and so as not to wake my wife this little radio is ideal, it's small and compact, I can't drop it on the floor and break it. Smart and the sound is pretty good too an ideal buy., Thank you Argos., 24 July 2014

key lock

Can the key lock be de-activated perminantly? It's more annoying unlocking it than it is to not have a lock in the first place.

Cheers

Answer:
Hi Loulou,

Thank you for your question.

I can confirm that as long as you ensure is that the earphone/headphone cable (which acts as the antenna) is not wrapped up but kept as straight as possible to obtain the radio signals, this should not be a problem.

Thanks for using Q&A.

1 month, 2 weeks ago
Hello,

Could you tell me how many charges does the battery last for ; or to put it another way, with daily use how long will the battery last; e,g, a year, two years ?

Is the battery replaceable ?

Thanks

Answer:
Hello there,

Li-Po battery should be good for at least 500 charges but longevity will depend on the care of the battery, for example Li-Po batteries should not be allowed to discharge fully before recharging them as this shortens the life.

Battery is not easily user replaceable but a competent TV/Radio repair shop will be able to do it.

I hope this helps,

In the menu you can view the current software version, can this device be upgraded
(to, say, provide a workable user interface?)

Most if not all DAB radios will provide you with the software version they are using and on the whole not upgradable
