ProAction 10 Sheet 21 Litre Cross Cut Shredder. 4.4 5 121 125
Very well designed. EXCELLENT SHREDDER ABILITY TO SHRED CD'S IS VERY HELPFUL 22 July 2014
ProAction cross cut shredder A very good product, which shreds the paper into small pieces. Am very happy with it, and would recommend it to others. 15 July 2014
Good heavy duty shredder but long reset time Bought this to replace a broken machine, based on other reviews plumped for this one. No problems with it's performance and size of the bin is good, however if you have a lot of shredding to do it switches off after approx. 30 mins (to cool down presumably) and can take up to 30 mins to reset. This is clearly stated in the manual so it's not a design problem We had 3 years worth of bills/statement etc. etc. so this was a pain but got there in the end. Overall a good shredder at a sensible price. 08 July 2014
Good for the size as compact Good easy to use great as does credit cards and CDs 01 July 2014
Excellent value Good size for home use, much quieter than our previous shredder, also handy to have credit card and disc shredder facility. Excellent value at price paid. 26 June 2014

It does not specify where you need to shred up credit cards in the manual.

Bin fill cut out

1 month, 3 weeks ago
Does it have a cutout when the bin reaches a fill level. I had a shredder that when the bin was full it cut out, have recently bought a new shredder that kept going till it jammed the mechanism

Answer:
No it doesn't, you will probably have a similar problem if used when full, there is however a small clear window to provide some idea as to the amount of cut paper in the bin.

My previous shredders required periodic oiling, but no mention of it here!

Answer:
I don't know, the paperwork didn't say so. I've had two machines over the years, one did need oiling (vegatble oil - messy) the other didn't.
