Toshiba 40L1333 40 Inch Full HD 1080p LED TV. 4.4 5 212 220
very average Bought this TV 2 weeks ago and will be returning it tomorrow. Most of the bad comments are about the sound quality. I have no problem with that. After you mess about a while with the graphic eq then you can get a reasonable sound, your never going to get a great sound from a thin TV without a sound bar. My problem is the USB sockets don't work. Picture quality is garbage. TV is way over price please don't waste your money. 19 May 2015
Toshiba TV Our TV was exactly what it said on the label, so far so good. All involved keep up the good work. 14 May 2015
Great value HD tv I bought this tv for my Xbox one. Great tv and value for money picture quality is brilliant Set up so fast and easy for anyone to use. Tad heavy to carry within the box so recommend you have two people carry it. Looks good 12 May 2015
Simple TV I needed a new TV for my 93 year old mother that was simple to use. This is not a SMART TV as she has no broadband and would be bound to press the wrong button. The picture is very good when set to dynamic and the text wording is also large - very helpful when someone is becoming a bit deaf. A 40" screen is very good choice for an older person. I was amazed how light it was, in fact it was very much lighter than the 28" LCD TV it replaced. 29 April 2015
Really good TV First one was damaged upon opening . Phoned up and took it back . Exchanged without a quibble . Really good picture . 15 April 2015

I have bought this TV and its great, however I can not view any of the HD freeview channels, can the TVs inbuilt freeview receive HD channels or will I have to buy a HD box, or will I have to upgrade my ariel or get sky?

Answer:
unless you buy a TV with freeview HD built in you will need to get a separate box as normal standard freeview is NOT HD. You will receive HD channels if you receive freeview with no change to aerial. For the most amount of HD channels sky is best option.

Answer:
You may need to get a HDMI adaptor to get more input points to one output to connect more items to the TV, then this will operate on your TV. Recommend if you get adaptor get one with led light indicator and remote if not going to be clearly accessible.

I am hard of hearing and am after connecting my own personal headphones to the actual television but to no avail!
I am getting no sound out of my wireless headphones. My previous tv was a straight forward set up in that I just plugged-in the 1 male coupler to the input (headphone socket).

Can you help me out any?

Answer:
Hi, thank you for your question.

I have looked into this for you and can confirm the Toshiba 40L1333 40 Inch Full HD 1080p LED TV has a head phone socket to connect your headphones to. Please refer to your wirless headphone instructions to see for installation to your TV. If that fails please try using a different set of headphones connected via the headphone socket to confirm if there is a fault with your TV.

Thank you for using Question and Answer.
