Seiko Men's Kinetic Black Dial Black Strap Watch. 4.6 5 15 16
seiko watch happy with the watch i dont have remember day or date it there on my wrist 07 May 2015
Shame about the face A nice quality watch but the face is hard to read even in good light, no good for a quick glance to check the time, after all telling the time is the main function of a watch. took it back. Looking for similar with a clear dial 14 April 2015
This product has excellent features I would recommend this watch 18 March 2015
Great watch Had the watch just after Christmas in the sale. A striking, expensive looking, no frills timepiece (feature are simply the day and date). Looks good, feels good, and no batteries to change. 18 March 2015
Good in parts I returned the one I purchased as it would not show a full charge. It could have been in stock too long. I bought a Citizen Eco Drive watch from Argos instead. Argos get Five Stars for the excellent service in the Stockport branch. This was not my first Seiko Kinetic. I have owned 2 others both of which had power cell failures but one was fixed by a replacement cell. I like the concept but in reality there is a lot to go wrong with this design. 18 March 2015

Answer:
Hi,

This is the power reserve indicator. When you press this button the second hand moves, it will only ever go as far as 30 seconds which indicates a full charge.

Have a good day.

Answer:
The Argos answer is not quite correct. The Seiko kinetic watches contain a coil with a ball bearing inside. This generates electricity when you move and stores it in a rechargeable battery which will need replacing after a few years but nowhere near as frequently as a normal battery.

This is different to "self-winding" watches (sometimes called "bumper" watches) which have a pendulum inside which winds the watch up as you move and requires no battery at all.

Answer:
Hi, thank you for your question.

Kinetic watches convert your body movement into electrical energy and don't require a battery. Simply by being worn, kinetic watches stay wound and do not need to be wound up manually. I hope this helps.

Thank you for using Argos Q&A.
