The Bosch steam iron has a ceramic soleplate that will allow you to effortlessly glide over fabrics, cutting down on ironing time. Featuring variable temperature and steam settings, plus a powerful 35 g/min continuous steam output and 120g shot of steam for easier ironing.

The anti-scale feature helps to prolong the life of your iron by preventing the build-up of limescale.

Probably a 'typo error' on the Argos website as this iron does have a '200g shot' and '50g continuous steam'.....which is great for removing stubborn creases.....

im just about to buy this iron do i need to buy this aswell Bosch TDZ1101 Iron Descaling Liquid to help with the iron ? also what is best to use in the iron for water thanks

Answer: 
I just use filtered water. Not sure if distilled water would be preferable but it's not convenient to make with the volumes of ironing I do. Prevention is better than cure? - I'm not sure I'd risk descaling chemical residue on my clothes.

Can I use tap water?

I live in a hard water area but haven't had problems with limescale in irons in the past. However I notice that some brands or models suggest using distilled water or 50/50.

Tap water may be used in this appliance however it will shorten the life of the appliance as you are correct most water devices which have a heating element do recommend using distilled water.
