Tefal FV3680G1 Superglide Steam Iron. 4.6 5 125 128
satisfied daughter bought for my daughter who was very frustrated with her iron, now she is a"happy bunny"and the ironing is done in half the time.Helpful and pleasant staff in store. 12 March 2013
Easy ironing Great iron, this is my third teal iron in 15 years!! They work really well and I find the iron lightweight and easy on the arms! The ultra glide plate is essential and I would not buy an iron without it! Overall great product and would buy again! 20 February 2013
Easy Very efficient. Existing iron broken- ordered new one on line and picked up from the store straight away. I am disabled so there was no hanging around or queing which was better for me. 05 February 2013
Love it This is a great product. This steam iron holds more water than my previous iron so you don't have to refill so often which is good. If you need a burst of steam it is really powerful. I have used this item a few times now and I haven't had any problems. 30 January 2013
Good replacement I have always liked Tefal irons for the superglide soleplate and this iron is no exception. I did prefer my old one with the cable and cable support coming from the base rather than the top as it didn't curl the clothes up as much when ironing. 17 January 2013
Great product Had already bought 2 irons and they both spilt water whilst ironing so this was definitely 3rd time lucky. Easy to fill straight from the tap nice length of cord and glides easily over clothes. Very happy with this product 16 January 2013
more than happy I dry iron only, but one of the best ive had, nice and light and glides easily. 16 January 2013
Great mid priced iron A great mid priced iron with a lovely smooth sole plate and it's fairly light compared with our old one. I'd definitely recommend it. 15 January 2013
Tefal - the only irons I will buy! This iron is excellent but I have never had a tefal iron that wasn't. The soleplate makes ironing quicker and easier. 15 January 2013
Best light iron Work fine, easy to use,not heavy.Excellent value for money.Good brand, good design and iron good also without steam. 15 January 2013
nice iron good price I am very pleased with my new iron, it glides easily over all fabrics, and gets the job done in no time. 15 January 2013
Early days Only had it a couple of weeks so can't comment on its reliability but so far I'm impressed by its lightness and good control over steam and temperature. It has a good sized reservoir and a useful length of mains lead too. A bit mean not to include a filling jug but I seem to have collected plenty over the years from previous purchases. 13 November 2012
Good Iron Very good iron. It was the last one available at that location of Argos so I reserved it. When I went to collect the iron I was disappointed to find that the box the iron was packaged in had been crushed. I was given the option not to accept the iron but as it was the one that I wanted I took a chance that the iron was ok, and it was. I was very glad that it was for my own personal use and not for a present as I could not have given it to anyone else. 06 November 2012
Excellent Finally a steam iron that producess steam and lots of it and makes light work of ironing bedding. Its sturdy and had a decent size water tank so you're not filling it up half way through your load. The sole plate glides over the garment and smooths the fabric really well, even on the lowest setting. Im very pleased with this purchase. 01 November 2012
a sound purchase well proven make, sturdy, weight just right steaming action fine, sole plate very good, great value 30 October 2012
Exactly as expected This is a lovely iron. I had a Tefal Superglide for many years and when it finally 'gave in' in decided to get another one. And Tefal have not failed to deliver. 10 October 2012
Best iron ever! I bought this iron when my previous 9 year old Tefal iron blew up! It is much lighter and steams and irons very well. Very pleased with purchase. 04 October 2012
not a bad little iron My last iron suddenly stopped working so I had to buy another really quickly (tonnes of ironing and in the mood to do it) This iron is not a bad little iron but if set too high a temp is liable to spit and hiss and drip. I found that keeping the hat control on minimum ie 1 dot and the main dial on ths base of the unit on cottons then it will pretty much iron anything. As for only using tap water, will I personally prefer ironing water as this stops build up of limescale. only time will tell if this has an adverse effect. 05 September 2012
Excellent buy Great iron. Heats up quickly, easy to fill from the tap, light in weight, presses clothes with very little effort. Bought on special offer but would have paid full price. Definately recommend this iron. 21 August 2012
Excellent value Very satisfied with this iron, easy to fill ,really smooth to use, and above all elsevery lightweight, Would highly reccomend. 31 July 2012

Answer:
I had this iron for about 3 days and returned it to Argos for an exchange. I couldn't find out how it self-cleans and the booklet isn't very clear at all; was not impressed.
