Has bin
It's a bin. It's exactly the same bin that was destroyed by my children after many years of good service, or is it? Well not exactly, time marches on, and companies modify things in the name of either cost cutting or better design. My previous iteration of this bin had a completely separate and removable liner retention ring, this one is attached at the hinge. I'll leave preference up to you, but for me separate parts are far easier for cleaning and maintenance. All that said, it's still a good bin, just the right size for at least a days worth (sometimes 2 or 3) of rubbish in a house of 5 humans.

Worst Bin Ever!
The worst bin I have ever had. After the first week it would not close properly and now we have the mini recycle green bin on top as it will not close. Please save your money and don't buy.

Poor quality
Would not recommend. We bought two of these and have had them just over a month and already the click down lids don’t work properly. They started popping open randomly and now one of them won’t hold shut at all. This is just from normal use in a kitchen. Very poor.

Sleek kitchen bin that looks stylish and fits neatly under the worktop. It was surprisingly light which helps when carrying it to the car, and also when emptying it. I appreciated the fold down ring that holds the bin bag in place. Saves your hands slipping into a sticky mess, when the bag sinks down the sides. Very happy with my purchase.

Don’t buy
Don’t bother buying. The lid doesn’t open and shut. It was to replace the same model I bought 9 years ago but my old, slightly broken, bin still works better than this new one. Cost cutting has made it unusable.

A solution to this particular problem I found, is to make sure your bin bag completely covers the receiving pin on the body of the bin. If you place your bag around this pin or allow the pin to pierce the bag then this will allow the closure to fail and the lid to keep springing open.

The bin liner attachment is actually fixed to the top lid and doesnt come out to help lift the bag out. It also pulls down when the bag is full and stops the lid closing properly and so it pops open ALL the time! Not a great design change!!
